Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (31/10/2024) at 13:31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, red chili peppers, iodized fine salt, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,910 (7.22%) to Rp28,380 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp800 (2.22%) to Rp35,270 per kg.
