Food Prices Thursday (31/7) in DKI Jakarta: Sugar and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (July 31, 2025) at 09.18 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are Minyakita, bulk wheat flour, red bird's eye chili, pure beef, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red bird's eye chili surged the highest by Rp6,471 (11.06%) to Rp65,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp2,500 (5.26%) to Rp45,000 per kg.

9. Indian Mackerel: Rp42,500 per kg (stable)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,333 per kg (up 1.87%)
