Fresh Chicken Egg Prices in North Maluku Highest in the Nation (Thursday, November 3, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of fresh chicken eggs (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 30,990 per kg, data as of Thursday, November 3, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 31,060 per kg.

The daily price of fresh chicken eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 45,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh chicken eggs in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Papua, fresh chicken eggs were sold at Rp 40,700 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh chicken eggs in East Nusa Tenggara was Rp 40,200 per kg, Gorontalo Rp 37,300 per kg, and Central Sulawesi Rp 37,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 19 provinces with fresh chicken egg sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh chicken eggs are Yogyakarta Special Region, Bangka Belitung Islands, and Jambi.
