Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onion and Oil Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (4/1/2025) at 14:19 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, shallots, mackerel, bulk cooking oil, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, red chilies, chicken eggs, curly red chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,730 (3.58%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Red chilies experienced the largest price drop of Rp8,660 (10.91%) to Rp70,710 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (unchanged)
7. Mackerel: Rp37,420 per kg (up 2.27%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,740 per kg (up 1.63%)
9. Chicken Meat: Rp32,860 per kg (down 5.06%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp30,980 per kg (down 0.03%)
