Lampung Region Food Prices on Monday (September 2nd): Rice Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (2/9/2024) at 15:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, chicken eggs, shallots, red chilies, and dry soybeans (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp520 (1.83%) to Rp28,880 per kg. The price of curly red chilies saw the steepest decrease, falling by Rp1,510 (4.54%) to Rp31,750 per kg.
