10 Provinces with the Highest Daily Cooking Oil Prices (Tuesday, January 11, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of cooking oil (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces reaching Rp 21,200 per kg, data as of Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 20,410 per kg.

The daily price of cooking oil in modern markets in Aceh was the most expensive in Indonesia at Rp 26,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the daily price of cooking oil in this province did not change. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 26,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Gorontalo's modern markets, the daily price of cooking oil was sold at Rp 26,250 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the daily price of cooking oil in West Papua was Rp 24,100 per kg, Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 22,850 per kg, and Central Sulawesi Rp 22,600 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are nine provinces with daily cooking oil sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest daily cooking oil prices are Central Java, North Kalimantan, and North Maluku.
