Current Food Prices in Jambi Province: Egg, Oil, and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (1/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, premium rice, red chilies, milkfish, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken prices surged the highest by Rp1,010 (3.47%) to Rp30,110 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most sharply by Rp1,930 (6.91%) to Rp26,000 per kg.
