Jakarta Food Price Update Today: Egg Prices Rise, Fish Prices Fall (Monday, November 27, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (27/11/2023) at 10:17 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

The price of chicken eggs saw the highest increase, jumping 10.91% or Rp3,010 to Rp30,610 per kg.

Next, the prices of shallots and bulk wheat flour increased by 8.99% or Rp3,680 to Rp44,630 per kg and 5.34% or Rp520 to Rp10,260 per kg, respectively.

The price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) increased by Rp350 or 2.78% to Rp12,940 per kg, bulk cooking oil increased by Rp420 or 2.76% to Rp15,660 per liter, and the price of red onions increased by Rp500 or 1.35% to Rp37,420 per kg.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, mackerel, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish decreased by 9.62% or Rp4,010 to Rp37,680 per kg, the lowest price decrease today in DKI Jakarta.

The price of skipjack tuna was recorded at Rp34,640 per kg, down 7.97%, mackerel decreased to Rp34,380 per kg from Rp37,050 per kg, and the price of iodized fine salt decreased by Rp600 to Rp10,670 per kg.
