Jakarta, DKI Jakarta Food Price Update: Chili and Rice Prices Drop (Wednesday, April 17, 2024)

Food prices in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (17/4/2024) at 20.36 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, Indian mackerel, medium rice, broiler chicken, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp740 (1.69%) to Rp44,480 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,120 (5.57%) to Rp52,850 per kg.
