Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Onion, Egg and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (August 28, 2025) at 11:17 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler eggs, broiler meat, dried soybeans (imported), large red chili, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red onions, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, Minyakita cooking oil, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Dried soybeans (imported) saw the highest increase of Rp9,600 (inf%) to Rp9,600 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices decreased the most by Rp2,038 (4.17%) to Rp46,786 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp42,308 per kg (down 3.98%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp41,786 per kg (up 1.48%)
8. Mackerel: Rp41,154 per kg (down 2.45%)
9. Red Bird''s Eye Chili: Rp41,071 per kg (up 1.19%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,083 per kg (up 1.42%)
11. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,333 per kg (up 1.19%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20,357 per liter (down 2.24%)
13. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp18,900 per liter (down 0.93%)
