Latest Banten Food Prices: Salt Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (9/6/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, red chili peppers, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, medium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp510 (6.81%), reaching Rp8,000 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp2,560 (8.49%), reaching Rp27,590 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,660 per kg (down 2.43%)
