Latest Food Prices in South Kalimantan: Chicken Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Friday, January 19, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Kalimantan today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (19/1/2024) at 10:47 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, shallots, medium rice, chicken eggs, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, iodized fine salt, milkfish, mackerel, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up by Rp500 (5.48%) to Rp9,620 per kg. The largest price decrease was milkfish, down Rp1,900 (6.26%) to Rp28,470 per kg.
