Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chicken Meat, Sugar, and Oil Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (8/7/2025) at 10:07 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 17 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include premium rice, red cayenne pepper, broiler chicken meat, milkfish, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dried soybean (imported), large red chili, shallots, and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel fish saw the highest increase of Rp4,792 (11.44%) to Rp46,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dried soybean (imported) saw the deepest decrease of Rp9,600 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
