Today's Food Prices in Lampung: Red Chilies Up, Chili Peppers Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (13/4/2025) at 14:18 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, shallots, granulated sugar, red chilies, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Minyakita, broiler chicken, SPHP rice, dry soybean (import), and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,656 (3.25%) to Rp52,656 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the steepest price drop, decreasing by Rp889 (1.48%) to Rp59,000 per kg.
