Price of Medium II Quality Rice in Traditional Markets for the Period April 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in Maluku province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp15.95 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in Maluku over the last three months has decreased by 1.56%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in Maluku province is traded at Rp16 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2023 with an increase of 14.17%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2023 with a decrease of -10.88%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods today in Maluku show that 13 commodities have decreased and eight others have increased. Staple foods with decreasing prices are Grade 2 Beef, Rice, Low II Quality Rice, Medium Size Garlic, Beef, Chicken Meat, Cooking Oil, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Super I Quality Rice, Red Chili, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili and Garlic.

7. Low II Quality Rice per Kg Rp16.7 thousand per kg (down 2.05%)
8. Shallots per Kg Rp65.9 thousand per kg (up 21.14%)
9. Medium Size Garlic per Kg Rp56.25 thousand per kg (down 3.35%)
10. Beef per Kg Rp154.95 thousand per kg (down 6.6%)
11. Red Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp96.1 thousand per kg (up 13.19%)
