Today's Food Prices in East Java: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (29/12/2024) at 15.32 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that saw price increases include chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, red chilies, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, SPHP rice, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of farmer-level corn saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp170 (3.09%) to Rp5,670 per kg. The price of bulk wheat flour saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp160 (1.68%) to Rp9,340 per kg.
