Lampung Region Food Prices Friday (September 20th): Beef, Egg, and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (20/9/2024) at 14.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, pure beef, premium rice, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of garlic bulbs saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,740 (4.89%) to Rp37,320 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp770 (1.85%) to Rp40,820 per kg.
