Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Salt and Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (24/10/2024) at 08.47 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, SPHP rice, farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, mackerel, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp2,620 (10.03%) to Rp28,750 per kg. Red chili peppers experienced the sharpest price drop, falling Rp10,880 (23.42%) to Rp35,570 per kg.
