Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (26/5/2024) at 14.34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, red chilies, premium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red onions, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice saw the highest price increase of IDR 80 (0.56%) to IDR 14,250 per kg. Red onions experienced the lowest price decrease of IDR 1,010 (2.31%) to IDR 42,710 per kg.
