Aceh Region Food Prices Thursday (29/8): Prices of Salt, Sugar, and Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (29/8/2024) at 08.38 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp2,950 (8.68%) to Rp36,930 per kg. Red onion prices, on the other hand, decreased the most by Rp3,800 (14.45%) to Rp22,490 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas on August 29, 2024, at 08.38 WIB.

2. Mackerel: Rp42,570 per kg (down 4.1%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp39,290 per kg (down 2.8%)
4. Garlic Bulb: Rp37,090 per kg (down 6.05%)
5. Milkfish: Rp36,930 per kg (up 8.68%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp30,620 per kg (up 3.17%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,620 per kg (up 0.95%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp24,640 per kg (down 4.35%)
9. Red Onion: Rp22,490 per kg (down 14.45%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,490 per liter (up 2.32%)
11. Consumption Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (down 0.55%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp16,130 per liter (up 5.08%)
13. Packaged Wheat Flour (non-bulk): Rp16,000 per kg (up 6.81%)
14. Premium Rice: Rp15,770 per kg (up 7.35%)
