Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Wednesday, April 3, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (3/4/2024) at 10:15 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 7 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), mackerel, broiler chicken, fine iodized salt, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, milkfish, red chili peppers, shallots, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,040 (12.14%) to Rp37,310 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp4,110 (11.19%) to Rp32,610 per kg.
