Lampung Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Thursday, January 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (18/1/2024) at 12:30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, premium rice, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, shallots, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp190 (2.97%) to Rp6,590 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp900 (6.28%) to Rp13,430 per kg.

5. Broiler Chicken: Rp33,300 per kg (up 0.7%)
6. Mackerel: Rp32,680 per kg (down 3.17%)
7. Shallot: Rp28,020 per kg (down 4.27%)
8. Milkfish: Rp27,940 per kg (down 3.15%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp27,530 per kg (down 2.62%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,290 per kg (up 0.77%)
