Bali's Latest Food Prices: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Thursday, March 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (14/3/2024) at 11:31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, iodized fine salt, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, medium rice, shallots, skipjack tuna, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,910 (8.46%) to Rp37,290 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp3,410 (5.09%) to Rp63,640 per kg.
