The Price of Fresh Chicken Meat in West Sumatra is the Highest Nationally (Tuesday, May 31, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh broiler chicken (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 44,980 per kg, as of Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 45,350 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler chicken in modern markets in West Sumatra was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 64,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler chicken in this province has not changed. The highest price ever recorded in this region is Rp 64,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Gorontalo's modern markets, the price of fresh broiler chicken was Rp 51,950 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler chicken in Bali was Rp 50,300 per kg, East Java Rp 47,150 per kg, and East Kalimantan Rp 46,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, eight provinces had fresh broiler chicken prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler chicken were North Maluku, North Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan.
