Bali Food Prices on Tuesday (July 9th): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (9/7/2024) at 15.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,140 (2.72%), reaching Rp43,040 per kg. Indian mackerel experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp630 (1.68%), reaching Rp36,910 per kg.
