Latest Food Prices in Bali: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (7/6/2024) at 11:31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, milkfish, medium-grain rice, pure beef, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, curly red chili, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp1,580 (4.22%) to Rp39,040 per kg. The price of curly red chili decreased the least, by Rp880 (2.24%) to Rp38,370 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas as of June 7, 2024, at 11:31 WIB.
