Red Curly Chili Prices in South Sumatra Increased by 18.92% in a Week

The price of curly red chilies in South Sumatra was Rp 47,450 per kg on Friday, December 9, 2022. Compared to other regions, this region showed the highest price increase in the last week.

According to daily commodity price monitoring data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of curly red chilies in South Sumatra has increased by 18.92% in a week.

Meanwhile, compared to the price 30 days prior, the price of curly red chilies in this region is still lower by -13.25%.

However, over the past year, the selling price of curly red chilies in South Sumatra's modern markets has actually decreased. The previous highest record reached Rp 121,450 per kg.

For the January-December 2022 period, the price of curly red chilies in modern markets showed a downward trend, decreasing by -13.25% compared to the previous month.
