Prices of Low-Quality Grade I Rice Are Highest in These 10 Provinces (Friday, November 11, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of IDR 12,110 per kg for low-quality grade I rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, November 11, 2022. Overall, the average price this week decreased compared to last week's average of IDR 12,120 per kg.

The price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in Riau Islands was the highest in Indonesia at IDR 13,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of low-quality grade I rice in this province remained unchanged. The highest price ever recorded in this region was IDR 15,300 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Papua's modern markets, low-quality grade I rice was sold at IDR 13,400 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of low-quality grade I rice was IDR 13,150 per kg in Central Kalimantan, IDR 13,150 per kg in South Kalimantan, and IDR 12,900 per kg in West Papua.

Meanwhile, 12 provinces recorded sales of low-quality grade I rice below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for low-quality grade I rice were Jambi, West Sulawesi, and West Nusa Tenggara.
