Latest Food Prices in Banten: Prices of Salt, Chilies, and Eggs Increase

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (17/9/2024) at 15:54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, medium rice, pure beef, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, farmer-level corn, granulated sugar, premium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,310 (3.34%) to Rp40,590 per kg. Farmer-level corn prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp620 (7.13%) to Rp8,080 per kg.
