10 Provinces with the Highest Fresh Chicken Egg Prices (Thursday, October 20, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of fresh broiler eggs (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 31,060 per kg, as of Thursday, October 20, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 31,180 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler eggs in modern markets in North Maluku was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 45,900 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler eggs in this province has not changed. The highest price ever recorded in this region is Rp 45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Papua, the price of fresh broiler eggs was Rp 40,700 per kg, making it the second highest in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler eggs in East Nusa Tenggara was Rp 40,200 per kg, Southeast Sulawesi Rp 38,550 per kg, and Gorontalo Rp 37,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, there were 19 provinces with fresh broiler egg sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler eggs were East Java, Jambi, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
