Jambi Region Food Prices Thursday (July 11th): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (11/7/2024) at 12:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, chicken eggs, premium rice, chicken meat, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel fish, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,090 (2.87%) to Rp39,030 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp1,400 (4.69%) to Rp28,440 per kg.
