Today's Food Prices in Banten: Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (11/12/2024) at 13:59 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, farmer-level corn, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, premium rice, medium rice, chicken eggs, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase at Rp3,310 (8.58%), reaching Rp41,890 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most at Rp110 (1.01%), reaching Rp10,740 per kg.
