East Java Food Prices Friday (26/7): Onion, Chicken, and Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (26/7/2024) at 15.11 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, farmer-level corn, milkfish, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp190 (3.85%) to Rp5,120 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the largest price decrease of Rp5,750 (7.9%) to Rp67,030 per kg.

6. Mackerel: Rp33,270 per kg (down 0.06%)
7. Milkfish: Rp32,790 per kg (up 0.99%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,860 per kg (up 1.39%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,580 per kg (up 0.26%)
