Today's Food Prices (20/2) in Bali: Bird's Eye Chili Rises, Chicken Meat Falls

Several food commodity prices in Bali today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (February 20, 2026) at 1:56 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 2 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include shallots, bulk granulated sugar, Honan garlic, red bird's eye chili, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler chicken meat and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili had the highest increase of Rp5,827 (7.0%) to Rp89,123 per kg. Broiler chicken meat had the deepest decrease of Rp111 (0.26%) to Rp42,519 per kg.

6. Large Red Chili: Rp33,185 per kg (up 1.47%)
7. Shallots: Rp33,074 per kg (up 2.8%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,493 per kg (down 0.06%)
9. Premium Packed Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,034 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,193 per liter (unchanged)
