Banten Region Food Prices Saturday (21/9): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (21/9/2024) at 15:54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, cooking oil (loose), red onions, SPHP rice, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, red chilies, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-loose), and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp930 (12.08%) to Rp8,630 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel experienced the largest decrease of Rp900 (2.46%) to Rp35,750 per kg.
