The price of curly red chilies in East Kalimantan is Rp 93,200 per kg (Friday, February 18, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 59,480 per kg for curly red chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, February 18, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 58,800 per kg.

The daily price of curly red chilies in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 93,200 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of curly red chilies in this province is lower; previously it was recorded at Rp 104,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Kalimantan, the price of curly red chilies was sold at Rp 86,500 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Curly red chilies in East Java ranked third at Rp 70,500 per kg, West Papua at Rp 69,900 per kg, and Gorontalo at Rp 62,150 per kg.

Meanwhile, six provinces had curly red chili prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for curly red chilies were Jambi, Aceh, and West Sumatra.
