Chicken Prices in Traditional Markets of Yogyakarta Special Region Down 1.42% in the Last Month

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Yogyakarta Province is recorded at Rp34,750. This price is down Rp250 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets has decreased from Rp35,250.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Yogyakarta Province over the past three months has seen a 0% decrease. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in Yogyakarta Province is traded at Rp34,750.

The record high for the daily price of chicken in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2018 with an increase of 14.47%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2020 with a decrease of -9.45%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Yogyakarta Province show six commodities decreased and 17 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases are: Daily Fresh Layer Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.
