Latest Food Prices in West Sumatra Region, How Much is Chili?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (7/7/2024) at 09.17 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, premium rice, pure beef, SPHP rice, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, bulk cooking oil, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most by Rp14,520 (29.56%) to Rp63,640 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most by Rp5,000 (13.37%) to Rp32,400 per kg.
