10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Low-Quality Rice (Tuesday, February 20, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 13,800 per kg for low-quality grade II rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 13,680 per kg.

The daily price of low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in West Papua was the highest in Indonesia, at Rp 16,350 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of low-quality grade II rice in this province is higher, previously recorded at Rp 12,800 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Bali's modern markets, low-quality grade II rice was sold at Rp 16,300 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of low-quality grade II rice in Maluku was Rp 16,200 per kg, Lampung Rp 16,200 per kg, and Papua Rp 15,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, 14 provinces had low-quality grade II rice prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for low-quality grade II rice were Riau Islands, Jambi, and West Nusa Tenggara.
