Today's Food Prices in Banten: Prices of Rice, Chilies, and Beef Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (24/8/2024) at 13:31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, red chilies, chicken eggs, broiler chicken, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, SPHP rice, milkfish, premium rice, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp490 (5.98%) to Rp8,680 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the sharpest decrease, falling by Rp1,130 (3.36%) to Rp32,500 per kg.
