Banten Region Food Prices Friday (31/10): Chili Prices Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (31/10/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were bulk cooking oil, milkfish, Minyakita, packaged wheat flour, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken meat, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp636 (1.71%) to Rp37,810 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices fell the sharpest by Rp961 (2.29%) to Rp40,952 per kg.
