Banten Region Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (3/6/2024) at 13:43 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, premium rice, chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, pure beef, dry soybean (import), and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp2,530 (6.85%) to Rp39,450 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices decreased the most by Rp16,180 (47.27%) to Rp18,050 per kg.
