Latest Banten Food Prices: Onion Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (14/11/2024) at 12.06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, premium rice, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, chicken meat, red chilies, medium rice, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion prices increased the most, by Rp2,470 (7.14%) to Rp37,040 per kg. Milkfish prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,220 (3.77%) to Rp31,180 per kg.
