Lampung Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Rice Prices Down (Monday, April 8, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (8/4/2024) at 14.32 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, pure beef, granulated sugar, shallots, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was red chilies, up by Rp12,860 (24.17%) to Rp66,070 per kg. The lowest price decrease was observed in premium rice, down by Rp140 (0.93%) to Rp14,960 per kg.

7. Mackerel: Rp31,920 per kg (down 0.84%)

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,190 per kg (up 1.18%)
