Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Oil, Onions, and Rice Fall

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (6/7/2024) at 11:43 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, shallots, chicken eggs, fine iodized salt, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, Indian mackerel, broiler chicken, shallots, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken eggs saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp530 (1.84%) to Rp29,310 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp2,030 (5.97%) to Rp31,960 per kg.
