Latest Food Prices in Bali: How Much Does Red Chili Cost?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (15/4/2025) at 10:03 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 18 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, bulk wheat flour, Minyakita (a brand of cooking oil), milkfish, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as large red chilies, bulk cooking oil, premium rice, farmer-level corn, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase at Rp4,111 (11.45%), reaching Rp40,000 per kg. Packaged wheat flour saw the sharpest price decrease at Rp557 (4.66%), reaching Rp11,385 per kg.
