Food Prices in Central Java, Friday (September 13th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (13/9/2024) at 08.40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, Indian mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, shallots, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,840 (16.68%) to Rp12,870 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp1,610 (7.53%) to Rp19,770 per kg.
