Food Prices in West Sumatra, Tuesday (March 25th): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (25/3/2025) at 11:15 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include Minyakita, table salt, skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, premium rice, large red chilies, fresh buffalo meat (local), and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest at Rp4,575 (8.63%) to Rp57,609 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices decreased the most sharply by Rp2,936 (6.09%) to Rp45,286 per kg.
