Bali Food Prices on Monday (February 17th): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 13:32 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, mackerel, garlic bulbs, SPHP rice, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour, Minyakita, granulated sugar, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp5,526 (9.21%) to Rp65,526 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn decreased the most sharply by Rp350 (5.93%) to Rp5,550 per kg.
