Latest Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Rice, Egg, and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (27/3/2025) at 14.03 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, premium rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,588 (6.69%), reaching Rp57,235 per kg. Bulk cooking oil experienced the largest price decrease of Rp291 (1.64%), reaching Rp17,414 per liter.
